I have a ton of recent US weekly and Cosmopolitan magazines that I'd like to sedt to the troops. I read an article about sending magazines to the troops but for the life of me can't remember what it said about how to go about donating them. I'd hate to see them go into the recycle bin if a soldier might enjoy them. I was hoping one of you military spouses might have an idea?
Re: Not parenting related but does anyone know how I can donate magazines?
Sorry about that! *Military families*
I feel the same way and I am in Iraq! I would LOVE to get magazines that we cant get here bc we are shutting down the bases. You can "adopt" a servicemember and then mail the magazines to them. I know when I get a care package I share the contents with my Soldiers.

lol same here! My mom and husband will send me magazines, like cosmo and glamour and real simple. Sometimes they both send the same exact magazines too. But since there is only me and one other female in my company we read them, then take them to the gym or the beauty salon and just leave them for other people. When we get care packages from the operation tango mike or other random people...they never usually send magazines...mostly tampons, razors...the "essentials" lol
