How long did it take for Miralax to work for you?

I have been on Zofran and am now dealing with the consequences. I'm on day three after trying stool softeners with no luck. I have been horribly non-compliant with drinking fluids and eating fiber because my nausea is so terrible. I'm basically eating bread and the occasional cheese, and broth. I know, wah wah

My friend is picking me up prunes, Miralax, and Metamucil as we speak. I know the Miralax can take at least a day, and that does not bode well with me being scheduled to work tomorrow (in a small office with a bathroom that is WAY to close to people's offices).

 Does anyone have an encouraging story of going within a few hours of taking the miralax?

I feel like it just started working and I started it Thursday night. At first my stool was hard but passing in pieces through out the weekend and today its actually soft...I did not take it saturday or sunday though so that prolly didnt help.. but its still not back to normal 100%

lols to me.  just realized the zofran is what's making me constipated.  i've been on it for a week... duh!!  i guess i get to get out the senokot!

I took miralax for three days (per doctors orders) and saw no action until the third day. As PP said, it was hard at first, pebble like, then each day it got better and softer. I didn't have any explosive action if that is what you are worried about.
