    I remember you.  Congrats on the placement!

    Unfortunately I don't live anywhere near you so I can't help, but have you tried Freecycle?  You can put out a request for an item, and I'd bet with your story someone would come through for you. There's also a "for free" section on craigslist.  Just make sure you brush up on safety requirements (no dropside, width between bars, etc...)
