39 week update

Still sitting at 2cm dilated, 80% effaced and LO is at a 0 station. Had my OB strip my membranes and stretch my cervix to 2.5cm dilated so lets hope that gets things moving!

My c-section is scheduled for when I'm 41 weeks which I ok'd, but today I asked if he could admit me 24 hours before that (if I make it that far of course) and break my water as a form of induction to give me one last ditch effort to VBAC should I not go into labor on my own. He agreed to that so I'm excited! I still have 11 days before my c-section so I'm hoping it won't come to that, but I'm glad I have that last ditch effort to cling on to in any case

Those stats sound promising!  I hope you go into labor this week!  Glad to hear that your doc is supportive of breaking your water as well... I'll be doing the same when the time comes:)
