I was looking up stuff about enrollment (since Jake starts next year) and I came across this:
Missouri law requires proper immunizations for children
to enroll in or attend school.
Immunizations for polio, DPT, measles, mumps, and
rubella (MMR) and hepatitis B are required.
In addition, varicella vaccine(s) or proof of disease
(chickenpox) is required for students entering kindergarten through
6th grade.
For kindergartners and
1st grade only,
proof of disease must be a signed note from a licensed health
provider with the month and year of the disease.
For 2nd through 6th
graders, proof of disease shall be a signed note from the
parent/guardian or licensed health provider with the month and year
of the disease.
If immunizations are needed, contact your physician for
an appointment.
To me, that looks like you can't opt out of it, even for religious reasons-right?
Re: ? about school and vax
It lists Australia because its a listing for "Vaccine Exemption Forms Online - by State or Country "
You should only apply for a religious exemption if your religion truly interferes with your ability to vaccinate your kid (and I think religious exemptions are BS, but that's another story).
Philosophical exemptions in MO only apply to daycare, preschool, and nursery school.
