We have a small group of about 10 in a variety of ages from 30-93, mostly in their 60's. Anyway, I am supposed to help with games and my aunt is picky as anyting as to games and what is ok. She is doing the shower mostly but asked me to do this. I have no clue what to pick. I saw a team game where they write the word baby in as many languages as possible. I saw one that is a team game and write as many songs iwth the word baby in it. aunt did not seem to keen on the dont say baby game. I thought maybe the finish the nursery rhyme game. Hmm, i would love ideas but i may just pick some and keep it simple. Its an early shower and next weekend but baby not due til november 6 so not doing the string around tummy one. Was told by mom to be not to do diaper/candy bar melted one.
Any ideas?

Re: baby shower games for small group
My friend loves this one, and it was a hit at my baby shower:
Choose a bunch of traditional (or modern!) baby items and put them in brown paper lunch bags. Seal the bags and write a number on each one. The bags get passed around the room, and each person has to feel each bag and guess what the baby item is inside. Give them a numbered list to write their guesses on.
Include easy items like a bottle, pacifier, rattle, etc. as well as some challenging ones, like a bunch of Q-tips, a diaper (surprisingly difficult- feels like clothing), a bottle scrubber, board book, etc.
I'll warn you that this game takes a long time, so you might want to limit it to 10 items instead of the 20 that we did! Once everyone has guessed, the mom-to-be opens each bag to reveal the items, and she gets to keep it all.

I always like the get to know you trivia game - where you ask the mom to be a serious of questions about how she found out she was PG, how she told her husband/family, how she chose the name, etc. Then you make up a multiple choice questionnaire for people to take.
If the folks are "older", I'd do more traditional games like baby shower bingo, guess the jelly beans in the jar, the items on a tray remembering game, etc.
