    Is Rene pronounced like Renee or like Rein?  (I know people with both although the Rein pronunciation is an older lady from Eastern Europe).  I voted Violet because I wasn't sure on the pronunciation.

    it is pronounced Renee.

    I asked my sister if I could use it, she said yes. She would definitely tell me if she didn't want me to for some reason.

    Emma Rene flows better IMO, but I voted Emma Violet because I love Violet, and I love how it honors more than one person.
