First pp period?

I started the mini pill (I'm breastfeeding) at 6 weeks pp and at 7 weeks I think I started my period. But it was really light. So light that I couldn't use a tampon because it would still be pretty dry and hurt when I took it out 6 hours later (tmi? sorry). And it was a rust color. It only lasted about 4 days. 

So was that my period or is there some bleeding associated with starting the pill?

    I just posted yesterday that I started on day 5 of the mini pill. I EBF and was pretty bummed. Since yesterday it's been super light. Another poster told me the same thing happened with her and that she thinks it's just spotting from the pill. I'm starting to think the same.
