FINALLY relaxing about TTC

I am finally feeling at ease with TTC. We were SUPER anxious to get pregnant asap, so I kind of set myself up for failure anyways. We are still waiting for my first AF post procedure, and in the past few days I have realized a few things. 

I have realized that staring at my FF chart for hours on in is NOT going to make me ovulate. I have realized that setting unrealistic expectations for my body is not good for my sanity. I have realized that I am a girl who had a miscarriage... not "miscarriage girl"-- and it does not make me who I am, but is just a part of me. I have realized that you can have sex just for fun.. and it is fun (I knew this before TTC... but quickly forgot). I have realized that I cannot choose when I want my child.. but God will send me my forever baby when He knows it's right. 

I have FINALLY not googled for hours and hours during the day, seeing what else there is I can do to help concieve. I am finally not obsessing over my temperature, and getting pissed when it isn't showing any signs of doing anything. I am finally not taking 2-3 OPKs a day, to see if maybe I just MIGHT be surging. I finally am enjoying my summer vacation, and don't want school to start asap anymore. And it is finally not ALL I want to talk about with DH.  

I am FINALLY relaxing.

Good girl!!  It's hard to realize that sometimes!

I especially like the part where you said you're not hoping for school to start ASAP...I'm assuming you're a teacher.  So am I...and I'm sooo not ready!!! 

But in all seriousness...I'm glad that you are able to feel a little peace about everything you've been through!

This is great!  I was just like you until this week.  I was constantly trying to think about what I can do differently, questioning if I will get pregnant again and when AF will show up after my d&c.  FINALLY this week I relaxed and stopped taking my temp, stopped worrying about trying again and then Friday, AF showed up. 

I hope the same thing will happen for you and that you can continue to find some peace.
