visitation help

we do every other weekend, what about holidays? he lives two hours away. any ideas?

    After my parents divorced they did EOW and had shared holidays

    example:  one year we would spend New years at dads, MLK day with mom, Valentines with Dad, Easter with Mom, etc...  Then switch it the next year.

     However, Christmas was always the same.  Christmas eve at Moms, then around 10 or 11am on Christmas day we went to Dads.

    Birthdays we always did with mom, but I have friends that do the everyother year thing there too.

    I am hoping to obtain something similar with my LO and ex

    We do 2nd and 4th weekends and even and odd years for holidays. Like, I get Thanksgiving on even years and he gets odd years.  Except Christmas, I begged and pleaded and ended up giving up $1500 he owed me for every Christmas Eve night and Christmas morning till 12.
