Hi ladies, I am considering doing cd but I have a question. What is the difference between wet bags and pail liners? Would I need both? Also we currently do dd so I have a Arm and Hammer diaper pail. Would it be possible to use it for cd's? Could I just put a cd pail liner in it?
One more thing: I am going to do the Jillian's Drawers trial package. Anyone have any negative feedback about it?
Re: wet bag/pail liner
A wet bag comes in various sizes and closes with a zipper. They are generally used for travel (holding anywhere from 2-20 diapers in different sizes) we have three for out and about (one as a backup for DC) that hold about 6? We also have a very large one for weekend and long travel that holds about 20?
A pail liner is a waterproof bag that looks like a trash bag and goes on the inside of a garbage can. We have a kitchen sized one in the nursery. I think the issue with the disposable holders is the lack of air flow-the diapers actually smell better when given air to breathe so you will need a pail. Some people use a pillowcase however if you were worried about cost.
I haven't heard anything negative about JD's trial though I don't think it is enough to CD fulltime but I may be wrong. GL!
