I am considering cloth diapering. Really wanting to try it, but I'm afraid it is going to make my house smells. What are the best ways to keep my house from smelling from the dirty diapers between washes?

This.  We use disposables at night still and sometimes when my DH changes him in the night he forgets to put the diaper in the trash.  It makes the room smell like pee. I smell nothing from his diaper pail until I am dumping it into the washing machine.

We use a plastic trash can with lid with a pail liner inside.  I'm really amazed at how well the smell is contained.  There is some smell when you open the lid but its not horrible and disapates quickly.  That being said DH just commented last week how much better the smell is from when we used disposibles & the diaper genie!!
