ball pit ball recommendations for babies

Can someone give me a lead on safe ball pit balls to buy, I'm not buying a pit, just the balls, and they all say 3+?

(Feel free to giggle at the ball references, but since I'm gay, I had no sassy reference to make- sorry, gay people are so boring :-)   )

I don't get it. There's no way I could stuff one of those balls down my own throat so I don't see E being able to do it either. Why the 3+ rating?

My thought exactly, but maybe if they cave in there's a risk? Idk

I let J play with them. We got them as a gift so I can't rec a brand. If they cave we toss them. Flame away if this is bad. He loves them. We roll them, throw them, etc. Obviously supervised.

We bought Mathieu a huge bag (250 balls) from Walmart. There is no way that he could choke on them or anything... I didn't even look to see what age they were "rated" for. Crazy!
