I can't seem to find many infant sleep positioners online... Was there some kind of conspiracy to eliminate them, or am I just not looking in the right places?
While DS1 was in the NICU they used towels to make a "U" around him, but they had him on a million monitors and someone was watching him 24/7 so that might make a difference.
I feel safer using ours...DD1 never rolled while she was in it, I made sure it was very tight and we only used it while she was swaddled. After the swaddle came off, I took it away because she was able to lay flat. While she was swaddled she seemed to roll on her side a lot.
I have never been a fan of sleep positioners all my kids either scooted to the bottom of them, or rolled over. it didnt work. I have found a rock n play sleeper by fisher price that I am going to be buying for our bby girl in sept it has great reviews and will help with GERD because of its incline. Check it out. Target has the cutest ones.
My last son had GERD and he slept in his bouncy chair for the first 3 months of his life which helped us tons!!
