T&P needed

Good Morning Ladies -

Sorry to begin the day this way. Some of you may remember a long time ago me posting about my friend Laura who has/had breast cancer. She has been fighting this awful disease since 2007.

Laura and I met on our honeymoon's in St. Lucia and then were pregnant with our sons at the same time. She also has an older daughter from a previous marriage.  We both share a passion for running and clicked instantly. An annual run has been established - me and a couple of you have joined me in running this. Additionally, Laura also went to one of our 1st Dinner A'Fare GTG way back when.

Anyhow, I received an email from her husband late the other night indicating I needed to come over soon, like this week to say my goodbye's. She is getting chemo today so I will be heading over Saturday.  I am filled with so many emotions. I cannot imagine saying goodbye to her, my heart just aches. If you ladies would please say a prayer for her and her family.

I clicked over and read a little bit of her blog and when she said her daughter left for camp and said, "Don't die while I'm gone", I burst into tears.
