another registry completion question
I've selected my stroller, and am currently registered for it on both Amazon (my secret registry for the sole purpose of using a completion coupon) and Babies r us. Anyone know if either place restricts strollers and/or car seat adapters for strollers from their completion coupon? I should receive both coupons next week, and I'm curious. If both end up being the same price, I'll of course go with amazon and get the free shipping.

I got my BRU completion coupon this week in the mail. It has all the normal exclusions that their other coupons have. It says it excludes...

I am not surprised that the completion coupon has the same restrictions as the 20% off coupons. It's so silly that they even offer these deals at all - every single item I would want to use it on is excluded!
I too have a secret Amazon registry just for the completion discount. I fudged my EDD so I could go ahead and get the discount now and placed my order on Tuesday. We got a ton of stuff yesterday and are expecting the rest today.
I was able to use the 10% on Baby Jogger City Select stroller, bassinet and travel bag. (The second seat kit qualified as well, but I decided to hold off.) Also on my Ameda breast pump.
The only big ticket items that I could not use it for was my video monitor and Ergo because they were sold by someone other than Amazon. At regular price, the video monitor was still cheaper than BBB or BRU with a 10% discount. The Ergo was the same price, so I will buy it at my local BBB and use my 10% completion discount.
As a FYI - when I called BBB, they said that I could use the 10% completion discount on EVERYTHING except diapers, wipes and formula. I specifically asked about high end strollers and the Ergo and was told that it could be used.
I didn't even create it until after my shower, and did it for the completion coupon. I don't think that anyone at my shower shopped online (and knowing my crowd, I didn't expect that they would), and most didn't go off either of my other registries. So I created it for me, didn't broadcast it.
