Grant has decided to start sleeping and not waking until 8:30 or 9 am. I seriously JUST got him on a nap schedule at 10 am and 2 pm. I guess I need to move it back. Any suggestions for what time? This kid has no consistency when it comes to anything and I'm trying to make something permanent. TIA

Re: Nap time question
i don't know how old your LO is but my understanding (i'm reading a book called "healthy sleep habits, happy child") is babies eventually give up the morning nap.
mine naps around 10 and 2/3 pm too but, when she goes to daycare at 1yo, the toddlers only have the afternoon nap. so the daycare starts weaning their babies off the morning nap in prep for the toddler room.
once your baby gives up the morning nap, they should be put to bed earlier to get adequate total sleep time.
mine gets up no later than 6 am to go over to my mom's house so she's up for 3/4 hours before her nap. sounds like yours is probably giving up that morning nap because they're getting a longer overnite sleep time, which is what's supposed to happen. i don't think you're gonna get that nap back!
That sounds exacly like my DD! I've been giving her a nap 3 hours after whatever time she wakes up and then I try a nap 3 hours after waking from the first one. If she sleeps from 12-3 (which is rare but happens) I skip the second nap. I also make sure she's awake by 5:00 no matter what. Her naps are all over the place!
I guess I don't have any earth shattering advice. I just consider this a transitional time and figure eventually will be regular. I have been thinking about waking her up at 7:30 every day, if she's not awake. If I do that I'd be able to give her naps at 10:30 and 3/4ish. I'm not sure if I want to wake a sleeping baby.
a warning (in bold print) from the book i'm reading is NEVER WAKE A SLEEPING BABY. i just started reading the book and it addresses naps too. i just don't remember what it said except that they will decrease because i was worried about that when LO goes to daycare.
