If you use Dr. Browns bottles and have a dishwasher

These will change your life in the clean up department. I rinse every thing, pop them in, and run the DW on a sanitizing cycle before bed. So much better than doing everything by hand.

The side holders even fit the "straws."

  • I have one of these, but don't use it much because I don't run my dishwasher every day.  I just wash by hand.  Thanks for sharing!!

Scout, have you tried these? https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2908669

I have both those and the munchkin ones (clearly have not used either yet) and was just wondering if one was better than the other.

  • I have the Dr Brown basket. I don't use it that often though because I never seem to need bottles washed when I am running the dishwasher.

I have both, and use both regularly. I love being able to dishwash bottles, and BM storage bottles, and can even put my pump parts in the munchkin basket. I like the Dr Brown's holder best for those bottle parts, but only b/c it fits in my dishwasher better. I have washed the bottle parts in the munchkin holder and they seem to come out just as clean, though not as dry.

I bought one of these but haven't used it yet. With only two of us in the house the dishwasher only gets run once or twice a week.  I DO hate washing all the parts of the Dr Brown's bottles by hand, though.

Haven't tried this one, just the munchkin. Which I really like.

Also, I am feeling lazy and ecologically unsound. We run our DW everynight. It's an energy efficient one?

    Okay yeah. I suck.

We use the Munchkin basket and the Dr. Brown basket.  I love them both although the Dr. Brown basket only holds 3 bottles worth.  We also run the dishwasher almost every day...

  • That is what I use too, but I didn't even think to use the side holders for the straws! Thanks for the suggestion!
