How to keep LO cool in their carseat?

It's was first so confusing on how to dress my LO when we go out.  He would cry and cry then I realized that he was too hot in his car seat.  Just when I thought I figured it out he was crying again and I took him out and he was really sweaty.  He was only in a onesie this time.  Is there any tips on how to prevent this?

Yup I have to A/C on full blast and that still doesn't work

yeah, turn on the AC.

We are in a car A LOT each day.  I commute 75 miles a day and A is with me for at least half of that.  She gets super sweaty and there isn't anything I can do.  I don't put a blanket on her, just leave her in her regular clothes and put the A/C on.  We also have a windwo shade, that might help too!

I don't know why he'd be so hot then.  are you sure he's hot? Maybe he's just pissed off?   Cooper went through a LONGGGG time where he just hated the car.  

the only other thing I could think is to put a thin blanket under him so that if he's sweaty it keeps him sort of dry.

We had this problem too, and honestly never found a really good solution.  Just tried to get her out of there as quickly as possible.  Her back was always sweaty during the summer months, I think maybe the material in her carseat didn't breathe very well?  I wonder if you could put a really thin absorbant kind of cloth along the back of the seat or something to help wick away moisture?  And yes, A/C and probably a window shade too.  Maybe you could attach a small clip-on type desk fan to the seat next to the baby to get more air circulating back there?

Maybe the crying is coming from not liking the carseat and the sweat is coming from being so worked up.

Ohh thanks I will have to check that out!  We have the A/C on and and I also got two window shades and he is still sweaty so I am willing to give this a shot too!
