Sort of, we're not calling it that, but I guess that is what it is in essence. We're going to take two weeks to visit our family/friends around week 22. We live 3500 miles away, so it's a big trip and exciting, but not exotic.
We were trying and took one to Hawaii...where we actually conceived DH would like to take another one before baby is born, but I won't have time with school starting soon unless we take a small one to the beach.
I think we are just doing a little local trip. It's a one hour car trip then 1 hour boat ride to Catalina Island in California. I wanted to go to South Korea with the hubby recently but my doctor said no because the flight is too long. Does anyone else have orders not to fly? I want to go to Hawaii..
No, I prefer to be able to drink during my vacations. We will wait and go somewhere after I'm done breastfeeding.
LOL
We are going on a family vacation on Saturday for two weeks. That is as close as I am getting to a Babymoon.
We thought about doing one when I was pregnant with Lily, but truthfully it just seemed like more work than it was worth...so we got a couples massage and went out to dinner on Saturday instead.
We went on a babymoon with our first. When I was 5 months pregnant, we went to Acapulco - wouldn't recommend going there now!
This time around, we're celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary in Costa Rica at the end of the month so I think this will also count as the babymoon.

BFP#4: 2.14.12 MMC: 3.8.12 D&C: 3.13.12 Loss due to Trisomy 16

RPL BW, Sonohystogram, Chromosome testing on DH and myself = everything is normal
BFP#6: 12.4.12 EDD: 8.16.13
Things I did different with this pregnancy:
1. Waited TTC until after I had 3 normal menstrual cycles.
2. Got a new OB - amazing man who listened!
3. 200 mg progesterone until 12 weeks
4. Daily lovenox injections
We definitely plan to! We have an upcoming trip to DC/Boston that was planned pre-pregnancy, but we'll probably do something when we're on break early December. I'd love to go to SF, see the holiday decor, go to a spa, & do some Christmas shopping. Maybe not a traditional babymoon, but I think it would be a nice get-a-way before the holiday madness.
No. But I didn't get any vacation last summer (DD1 was born in August) so I am excited for our family vacation to the shore in 2 weeks! We are going with DH's family, so I definitely wouldn't consider it a babymoon, but its just nice to get away from work!
We are. DS is going to preschool this fall and since we wanted to include him we are going this month. We had this planned pre-pregnancy so I guess it's not a true babymoon. We are going to Gulf Shores, AL with friends. We are really excited and look forward to spending time with DS before all the baby planning/preparing starts. I am also planning a girls shopping trip in October/November with MIL and my two SIL. So I guess that is a babymoon without DH!
We are going on a family trip in November. We were supposed to go on a cruise, but I will be too pregnant for Carnival to allow me on the ship, so we might do something else or move the cruise up a few weeks.
If my parents can't change the cruise date, DH and I will fly to meet them at 1 or 2 of the ports.

Ha! My thoughts exactly! My 30th birthday is in November and DH wants to go to Vegas. I told him he is crazy, you can't do Vegas sober!
We are going up to an island up north in Michigan for a long weekend, that is about it.

I have been begging my husband for a babymoon! I want to go somewhere nice and warm in November when it's freezing where I live
Hope you get your babymoon!
