Feeding solids too close to bedtime?

Can you do this? You know how its not good to eat right before you go to bed - what about for babies? What if she eats her "dinner" solids meal at 6 and is in bed for the night at 7/730? Too close?

    I don't think it's too close. I think it's hard to give "dinner" any earlier. We feed Louie at 5:30-6 and she's asleep at 7-7:30.

    I think it would only be bad if LO has reflux or gets upset tummies and they need to be kept sitting.

    I just ask our pedi today and she said it was not a problem.

    Thanks =) We just do a lunch now since I only work till noon in the summer for summer school - but plan to add second meal once I go back FT..
