EWCM 2 days before positive OPK

hey girls.... so i've been testing with digital OPK's for almost a year now- you think i've gotten the hang of this- but I thought this was weird- usually when i see EWCM then i get a positive OPK that day-

this week I had lots of  EWCM on MOnday- we humped it out even thou i got 2 negative OPK's that day

yesterday negative OPK

then TODAY i get a positive Smile

anyone else have that happen? i would just think i was most fertile when i saw EWCM- but i guess my LH surge wasnt until today..... weird??!?!?!?

    The same thing actually happened to me this cycle. It was my first cycle using OPK's, and I had EWCM on CD14 and 15, and I didn't get a positive OPK until CD17. And still even after that I didn't O until CD19. So yeah, it happens. I pretty much just start having sex ED when I first see fertile CM, and continue until my positive OPK goes away. HTH! :)

    I have heard it is possible to get any kind of CM at any time in your cycle.

    I get fertile CM all the time throughout my cycle, and I don't even know if I'm O'ing!  Good luck and Happy Humping!

     i should have clarified it was EWCM that I got on monday- thats why i was so surprised that I got a negative OPK....

    Me too.  I've had EWCM for the past week and a half and OPKs have all been negative.  Seriously hope I get a positive soon!

    Early loss 12/2015 most likely due to low progesterone
    Began medicated cycles (Femara/Ovidrel/Endometrin) with TI 1/2016

    My EWCM varies anywhere from about two days all the way to a week or more. The past few months it's been about five days. But just when I feel like I start knowing what my body is doing, it changes things up!

    The EWCM is a result of increased estrogen, which comes BEFORE your LH surge.

    So I have about 2 day of EWCM before my positive OPK every cycle.

    glad someone has been going thru the same thing- for a couple months now the day i have EWCM i get a positive OPK- NOW my body is changing it up i guess!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
