Want to help me with a middle name?

Right now we are loving the name Parker for our little girl. It has family significance and we think it's really cute. Any suggestions for a middle name? We were thinking Jane because it is the feminine version of John and we would love to honor my uncle in that way. Parker Jane. I think it's......ok. Our last name is Miller so names that begin with A won't work (initials spell PAM) and S won't work because monograms with last name in the middle will be PMS- not cool. So do you wonderful ladies have any suggestions?

I really like Parker Jane! I think you should go for it. After I read the first sentence in your post, the middle name Jane popped into my head. I think it flows really well.

I think Jane is just okay....but I would never assume it was the feminine version of 'John'. And I'm not really a fan....it's 'just Jane'. If you wanted to honor him, you should name her Parker John (I am not opposed to last name type middle names, my middle name is my mom's maiden name and I love it).

I just adivse staying away from the current 'go to' middle name. i.e. Rose, Eve, Grace, etc. They are so overdone so if it doesn't mean anything to you, I wouldn't use any of those popular middle name.

I like Parker Jane... as far as other 'J' middle names go, I also like... Parker June Miller and Parker Joy Miller.

Parker Jane made me automatically think of Spider Man. Sounds like a comic book geek's little girl name. Just my opinion though. What about Jean (if you want to stick with the John theme)?

Yes, I was thinking this as well. I think Parker Elizabeth sounds really nice. Does it matter if my niece's name is Elizabeth? I mean it's a middle name so I figure it doesn't matter as much as the first name. You don't get much more feminine than Elizabeth. Or Parker Kate Miller. That's nice too. Gosh, this is so hard!!!

I like Parker Jane or Parker Elizabeth....and btw our girl's initials will spell MLF lol. Oh well, all parts of her name are special and I wouldn't change them for the world!

Pam is my mother in law's name and well, she'd get way too much of a kick out of that. I know that sounds really ugly! Actually I told DH that we could give her the middle name Amy (my mom's name) and then her initials would spell his mom's name and we could knock out both mom's in one. He didn't go for it.

Seems like Parker Jane is getting a lot of votes. I think the Spider man reference is pretty funny. I didn't think about that but so true!
