Parenting after 35

We are growing too fast

M is walking everywere now.  Usually I carry him to and from day care to the car.  Last night and this morning he squirmed around until I put him down and he walked (holding my had for balance over the uneven ground) into the building.  *sniff*.

  • But see, this is a good thing!   Now you don't have to lug that wiggly kid around as much.  (I know it's not a consolation!)

And FWIW, now I know when Charlie's really tired... he starts crawling and not walking.  Very helpful when we're playing at the park.

  • I hear that!  Margaux always wants to "WALK!  WALK!" instead of ride in the stroller.  Since I walk to and from the grocery store, that's just not something we can do just yet, I can't let her scurry all over the place near busy roads.  I certainly can't do it pregnant!  She can throw the fit of all fits over that stroller sometimes, though.

Michael loves it because he can see all around and he looks so cool.  I just put a hat on him.  It does have a seat belt.
