I'm a teacher and I've been eating school lunches. Gross, right? I know I just need to make the time to make my own lunch to take because it's going to taste a lot better, plus it'll be a ton healtheir. I know if I have some dumb little gimmick to get excited about I'll do much better with it. (what am I, 5?!) I'm thinking a bento box or something along those lines would be nice. I need lots of little compartments because I'll be taking a little bit of several things for my lunches. I'd like to stick with stainless or glass if at all possible.Any suggestions? ($25 tops)
Thanks!
Re: need help finding a lunch box
I'd get a cute basket with a handle and a bunch of lidded containers, otherwise you'll have to waste the box every night or you're up a creek for the next day. Where a bunch of containers that would fit in a cute basket would allow you to use 1/2 each day and the basket itself wouldn't get dirty, tuck in a cloth napkin and you're all set
I was picturing a wicker basket, but something like this would work:
This is what I got for my son when he was in daycare (and then I took it for myself.) haha! It's cute, practical, and almost makes packing a healthier lunch easier. Hope this helps. It's fantastic and comes with it's own fork and spoon. Awesome!
