Auden or Arden?

Would love to get thoughts on these names for a GIRL.  Do you like them for a girl?  Would you use them for a girl?

 

We are still leaning towards Eden (which we both love), but have seen these 2 lately.  Sound similar and find both appealing.

    I like Eden and Arden but something about Auden seems like it's a 2 year old trying to say Arden.

    I like Eden the best of the three. I don't like Auden. It sounds odd to me.

    Eden is by far my favorite.  Arden would be second.  I think people would struggle with pronunciation of Auden.

    Of the two, Definitely Arden.  Auden makes me think of either a speech impediment, or an audit.

    When I read the title of your post, I initially thought boy.  After reading the whole post though, I really like Arden for a girl.  Eden is a great name as well.

    I like Arden and Eden. I wouldn't use them, but they're just not my style.  I don't like Auden at all.

    I love Arden, I think it's beautiful.  Auden sounds like someone can't pronounce Arden.

    Auden is very strange to me. However, I love Arden! There is an actress/comedienne by this name who is on Chelsea Lately a lot.

    Considering they're both boy names, I don't like either of them for girls.  My DH's mn is Arden so all I see is boy.  What about Audrey or Adrienne instead?  Or just go with Eden, that's on my short list for a girl as well.  Much prettier than the other two.

    I adore Arden...but I tend to think of it as a boy name. That being said I was in the store today and there was a little girl named Arden and she was adorable and it didn't seem weird in any way:)

    Arden, definitely. Auden is all boy for me (I can only think of WH Auden and "Funeral Blues" or the street I lived on as a teenager.)

    Both are  literary, though, so I like that.

    I'm a sucker for the name Arden, but perhaps that's just because I'm a Shakespearean actor and I was just in "As You Like It"! I love it for a name! It's simple, unique, and not likely to get butchered. It also seems like one that would grow with the child.

    I like Arden.  Auden is an interesting literary name but I don't think it suits a girl.

    This.  To me, Arden is a boy's name, but since it isn't overly masculine, it would work for a girl.

    I like Eden much better. Saying Auden out loud sounds like I have a speech impediment and twouble with my r's. Arden is blehh to me.
