Hey I replied in the other thread but wanted you to see I wrote back..

:::totally butting in:::: Mind my asking, is it the Celiac Disease that ='s the issues with glue related things? Just not an issue I would have ever suspected nor did I have any idea is could be so far reaching (beyond food). Sure laugh at my ignorance, I don't mindStick out tongue)

No worries I get lost with all of it too. Yes soaps, sunscreen, toiltires everything basically can have gluten. Glues, play doh stickers do also...I honeslty dont know the whole list of things...It also depends on how sensitve somebody is. I *think* JLK is reacting to gluten free things made on shared belts (so very small trace amounts) The problem is really making sure if she does get art supplies with gluten on her hands making sure she washes well enough afterwards...And doesnt put anything near her mouth...Not easy for her at all...

Also, holy crappola when did you get to be sooooo pregnant!

About 8 months after we had sex! haha couldnt resist.

Are you in the same awful pubic pain as you were with the boy? God I hope not, akkk with two to chase around.

Thanks for asking..I for sure am. Its worse this time around by a good amount. They measured me a few weeks ago and its a good deal seperated...But for things to go *wrong* in a pregnancy its not too bad right!

I hope it doesn't sound corny, but damn Libby it brings tears to my eyes to see your incredible family grow like it is. I couldn't be happier for anyone and to have ended up with them all (so farWink) so close together in one big, happy and rambunctious bunch, well it's simply awesome and I'm so happy for you guys.

Thank you...sometimes I feel so lucky I cant even believe it. It scares me sometimes that how can we possibly be getting so much...My life is everything I want. Its just amazing. And I worry so much for JLK...how all of this might possibly impact her...She is obsessed with watching my birth slideshow (the one by Kelly M. ) so we do... a lot. We had a amazing talk about all of it a few nights ago...how she made us a mom and dad...before that we were just Tony and Libby...I hope thats making a impact..

Re: jsugrin

  • Very interesting about the depths of gluten, I honestly had no idea.  That seriously sucks for JLK and the entire family.  I'm sure it's enough to tear your hair out but man one more incredible reason why she's your daughter, I mean I know people who grew up with gluten allergies and never had any idea so it's fair to say that it could have been missed plus not everyone would go the distance.

Love the smart ass pregnant remark, at least the pain isn't so bad you've lost your sense of humorBig Smile.

I can totally see why you would feel scared, like it's too good but you guys have paid your dues and I simply think that finally the universe is working on bring you guys back into balance after far too long in the ***, far too long. I'm sure that JLK is going to know how loved she is, and she'll probably have some hard times too but hopefully having a bit more of an open adoption will help her to understand and accept and you are so, so right..........The other's may be biological but JLK is what turned you guys into a family and nothing can replace how special that is.

  • Thanks :)
