Snapfish or Shutterfly??

Can you guys please help me out?  We just got family photos done and the photographer gave us a CD with our pictures and we just order them ourselves.  I always just ordered pictures from Walmart for our photo albums but our photgrapher recommended anyone BUT Walmart as the quality there is not the greatest!

I am debating between Snapfish and Shutterfly.  Shutterfly has cheaper 5X7s (which I need a lot of) and the shipping is free over $30.  Snapfish said that I can send my pictures to a store to pick up but I am not sure how this works and what it would cost for shipping.  I also know that sometimes there are codes for these places.

Anyone know how this works and of any good deals?  Thanks!

  • I've always used Shutterfly and have been happy with them.  I find Snapfish's website hard to navigate.  I just used the free shipping too!

  • I prefer Shutterfly.  I had an issue with Snapfish a couple of years ago.  They sent me the wrong prints in an 8x10 or something and were going to make me pay shipping to mail them back before they would send me the ones I wanted.  Everyone I know uses them and likes them though.  I think the prints are nice from either place.

  • I like Shutterfly.

For pro pictures you might want to go with Mpix though because their quality is better.

  • I have only used Shutterfly because when the kids get their pics taken with Santa (or the Easter Bunny) I usually get a gift card to Shutterfly that is darn near equal to what I paid for the pics.  With that said, I have only ordered a couple of things but both turned out awesome, excellent photo quality.

  • I've used both, but prefer Shutterfly.  You can pick you Shutterfly prints up from Target, CVS, or Walgreens, too.
