Has anyone had post-D&C period come before 4 weeks?

I had a D&C on 4/29, but they left some tissue which turned out to be a molar pregnancy, and some tissue grew back. I had a repeat D&C 6/18 for the molar tissue. (I realize most arent familiar with a molar pregnancy, so just consider it a repeat D&C for extra tissue).

Anyways, that was 3.5 weeks ago. (It will be four weeks on Friday). I've had bleeding/spotting almost every day since then. It let up quite a bit last weekend (to almost nothing) but then some spotting resumed. When the spotting resumed, (pardon the TMI) it was brown, and not red as it had been. Now in the past 24 hours, it has turned back to red, and its a flow, not spotting. Just wondering if anyone out there has gotten their period back before the typical 4-6 weeks (or 4-8 weeks) that is common. This was my third D&C, after the first one it came back 4.5 weeks later. (It never really came back after the second, because of the molar pregnancy).

I left a message for my doctor, but just am curious if anyone has had this happen. It really doesnt matter since I'm on a forced break from TTC, just curious.

I had my D&C on 6/24 and I havent had my period yet, but my Dr said anywhere from 3 to 12 weeks to expect my period, so I wouldnt rule it out.

I did not have a D&C, but my first AF after natural MC came something like 21 days after.  I called my doc freaking out and hating my body for screwing around, but the doc said this isn't all that uncommon.  That AF was just like all of my pre-pregnancy AFs, only shorter (3.5 days instead of 5-6).  Exactly 28 days after the start of that one, I got AF again and it was back to my "normal" (ish!).

I had a d&c on 5/26 with two days of light spotting after.  Then after two weeks I had another two days of heavier spotting.  My period came two weeks after that and lasted from Monday-Friday.  Then the following Tuesday-Thursday I had light spotting.  Wonky! Hope this helps!

Me. AF arrived 3 1/2 weeks after D&C. I calle dmy office they said it was normal and a good sign it arrived so quickly my body is getting back on track. thankfully.

AF arrived 26 days after my D&C. 26 days is my normal cycle, so even though I wasn't really expecting it that early, I'm glad it came, because hopefully now I'm back to 'normal'

Yeah I just counted and its 26 days for me. My doctor wasn't convinced, but based on my flow I think this is it... I guess time will tell, if it last another day or two and then doesn't come back for a month, I'll know I was right. If it dwindles away and I get more in a week or 2, I'll know he was right : )

Doesn't matter either way, really, but I would love for my body to be normal for once.

I got mine 18 days (2.5 weeks) after my procedure. And my D&C was sort of like yours----prolonged after the original m/c. HTH!
