I dressed Ellie up in a cute dress for her shots today. I put a bib on her to keep her looking fresh. She just shot puke right over the bib and onto the dress. Should I spank her? I mean she's still a little young for corporal punishment but I want her to know that I don't take sh!t from anyone. WW9-12D?

i'm not against spanking, but there's a time for everything, and a child younger than 18-24 months isnt going to understand why her mommy is hitting her. It obviously hasnt occured to you, but she probably doesnt feel well. You should postpone her shots and spend the day playing with and cuddling her. and maybe take her tempature....

Absolutely! We started spanking at 5 months and by 7 months, he knew if he had to puke, he might as well just swallow it back down. Don't let her get away with that nonsense.

I'd also consider asking the pedi for EXTRA shots.

I don't believe in spanking (on the bottom). At this age it's more appropriate to give her a smack across the face. And, make sure you scream "NO" really loudly when you smack her. It will work wonders. Promise.

I don't think yelling "no" would be very effective. Not if you don't waggle your eyebrows and make an "I'm really angry" face to prove your point. Oh, and then give her the silent treatment.

In defense of the person who got upset at this post and didn't realize it was all in jest, many people do unfortunately know someone who has done something that stupid to their kid. Lets face it, look at all the dumbass posts on hurrying up inducing, and the FF at 6 month post, at the least, should be proof that some people do not have the common sense God gave them.
