Bumping from my phone. Someone please put line breaks in here for me when you quote it. How many days are you? How much have you lost? Are you BFing? Favorite recipe so far? What can you do with ground turkey besides turkey burgers?

    How much have you lost? I weighed this morning and had lost a pound!

    Favorite recipe so far? Last night I had turkey burgers mixed with salsa and mushrooms. It was pretty dang good. In my opinion, mushrooms make just about anything better.

    What can you do with ground turkey besides turkey burgers? I was thinking of putting some taco seasoning on it and making a "taco salad" without the shell -- fat free cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, fat free sour cream.

    How much have you lost? 6 pounds as of yesterday

    Favorite recipe so far? Baked tilapia crusted with orange/lemon pepper

    What can you do with ground turkey besides turkey burgers? Good question! I had turkey burgers last night, but I know there has to be something better. I'm thinking of trying it for stuffed peppers.

  • I'm on day 7 and have lost 7 pounds as of yesterday. I'm not breast-feeding. As far as ground turkey, you can make meatloaf, use it as the meat in stew, meatballs with maranera sauce, just about anything you would normally use ground beef. I've been using turkey in place of beef for years. I do have to say that I indulged in off plan food for dinner last night. PMS got the best of me. Good luck ladies.

  • I tried to start on Sunday but had major carb crash issues and couldn't handle it.  So I'm currently weaning myself off of carbs while trying to stick to the diet otherwise.  I think I might leave in a good, whole grain cereal for breakfast, just for my sanity, but hope to be otherwise carb free and fully on the diet by the end of the week.  Kudos to those of you who are sticking to the diet so well!!

    Yes! I've definitely noticed a BIG jump in energy. I feel less foggy too, if that makes sense.

    I just started exercising yesterday. I did a walk/run/walk/run on the treadmill.

    That's awesome. I know exactly what you mean. That's definitely something to look forward to because I can use all the extra energy I can get!

    There's a huge difference in the way I feel. I'm so energetic! There's times I may need a nap, but I don't feel like such a lazy lug as I used to. The first 4 days though were so tough. There's days, I'm so busy cooking and being productive, I don't get hungry.

    I'm not exercising yet.

    Favorite recipe so far? I've mostly been doing easy stuff. Grilled chicken with veggies, tuna, lots of salads.
