"Introducing the FI2 (Fitted in Two). These diapers are for those that love the look of fitteds but the convenience of an AI2. I used the same pattern as my very popular NRSS but made it with an inner hidden layer of PUL and an Inner made with Microchamois to help with wicking. The legs are turned out so that the Microchamois rolls out to help with the obvious slight wicking that can occur if a diaper becomes too saturated. "
Is this like an AI2? What is the difference? She has some fabric I want so I want to keep my eye on her but am wary of this. I do not want something like tangerine baby-a hybrid.
Re: what are your opinions or do you have a fitted AI2 from SP?
hmmm sounds interesting. I was just wondering about AI2s the other day. Sounds like you aren't a fan of the tangerine baby's...may I ask why? I was considering trying to get one....
it sounds like they are like fitteds with just another layer to keep them somewhat waterproof, does this make the diaper bulkier? I was thinking it would a way to show off the diaper prints more because you'd need a cover less than with a fitted but I haven't seen any of these in real life so I am just guessing.
Tangerine babies are a hybrid-she explains it on her HC page-I think she just uses a layer of fleece. My guess is it's still breathable and you can go coverless for longer than a traditional fitted.
