Lyn, Lynn, or Lynne

Okay, I could some help with a middle name...

First name: Alexis
Last name: Langton

Would like a version of "Lyn" as a middle name, but my mother-in-law's name is Lyn and my mom's middle name is Lynne. I'm closer to MIL than my own mom...but don't want to favor his side too much b/c if we have a boy down the road the middle name will be my FIL's name (he passed away 3 years ago).

Do you think Lynn works? Alexis Lynn? Ideas, suggestions welcome!

Most people tend to spell it Lynn, so I would go with that spelling.  Plus it's the middle ground between the two Lyn/ne's you are honoring.

And I think the name Alexis Lynn is lovely.

I think Lynne is the prettiest, but Lynn is a great compromise btwn your mom & MIL's names.

I agree.  I think it looks the best, and is the best way to please both of the mothers and not offend anyone.

I love Lynn, it's my MN, and it seems a good bridge between your moms. But, put it all together and Alexis Lynn Langton is a mouthful.
