Not very original, but this July 4th breakfast was really delicious, with homemade almond whipped cream. I even made one for myself!

July 4th lunch. Sandwich with the cheese on top, forming the base for the flag, which was again decorated with berries. On top is some diced plum, some popcorn on the side (which went untouched) and a mini container of Jello. I made red white & blue jello and had a little extra, which I poured into mini silicone cups.

My favorite, even though the color variety is poor. Pioneer Woman's sloppy joes are in the bun (I can never find mini buns, so I cut DD's down with a biscuit cutter). The pig snout is a mini granola bar, made in a mini silicone container, with sprinkle accents and cheese ears. In the pig container is more delicious black plum, surrounded by blueberries and a strawberry.

How cute is this little guy? He's supposed to be a whistling clown (because that's all I could find for a mouth). More leftover sloppy joe, raspberries for the hair, a cheese hat, cherry nose, and another jello heart. There also was a banana on the side, but DD didn't touch it (and was hungry 45 minutes later).
Have a great week everyone! Play with your food - your kids will love it!

Super cute, as always! Pepperidge Farm makes small slider buns, though they are somewhat hard to find.
I'll admit when I first started reading your posts, I thought, "wow, she's got more time in her day than I do!" But I started playing around with some of DD's meals last week. She's gotten such a kick out of it! I've mostly just done silly faces and cookie cutter cut-outs so far, but it really doesn't take me any longer than normal to put together--maybe an extra minute or two. I leave for work before DD wakes up in the morning, but always make her breakfast before I leave. I feel like this adds just a bit more love!
I ordered some picks and things off of the site you recommended, and I can't wait to get them! Cute stuff!
Here's today's breakfast. hehe...
