Back from Vacation & 1st OB Appt.?

I really want to thank the ladies who gave me advice last week. I ended up telling my uncle, aunt, & cousin since when they saw me I looked like I was hiding a large chicken in my stomach (darn bloat). The beach was so relaxing, I was not quite ready to leave.

I have my first OB appt. tomorrow and I'm a little anxious about it. I didn't get to this point previously so I have no idea what to expect. Is there anything I should be aware of or maybe questions I should ask? I'll be 10w4d tomorrow and haven't gotten to see my LO again since 6w4d. Is there any way that my Dr. will be able to tell me whether baby Koko is doing ok?

You should probably ask about any routine testing they are suggesting and its time to schedule your NT if you're having one. They might try to listen with the doppler, but many don't at 10w because the hb can be hard to find. Hope it goes well and keep us updated!

It's possible your OB will do a dating u/s or try to find the hb with the doppler (although it is pretty early for that).  I think it really depends on the practice and Dr. 

For my first OB appointment (at almost 8 weeks), she went over her plan for me, did a dating u/s, a pap smear and had me schedule my next appointment and NT scan.

Thanks ladies I actually have my NT Scan scheduled already for 2 weeks from tomorrow- definitely freaking out about that one, but I figured i should freak out about 1 appt. at a time.
