I loved my Joovy ultralight for the first year and a half. And now I'm starting to hate it. My 20mo is pretty tall and his feet easily reach the wheels. He likes to put his feet on the wheels while we're moving! This is driving me insane, plus it's not very safe. If the wheels turn while he has his feet on them, his feet can get caught between the wheel and the frame.
Obviously I'm trying to get him to not do this, but he's 1.5, so it's not like he listens well!! On the way home from the pool, we've resorted to swaddling his legs with a towel so we can get home without him doing this a million times (it's a quarter mile walk).
Does anyone else have this problem? Any way to solve it? Have we just outgrown this stroller? (He is no where near the height or weight limit of 40"/45lb that Joovy states. He's under 30lb and about 36")
Re: Joovy Caboose? about feet hitting from wheels
Yeah, it's the baby in the front seat sticking his feet in the wheels! I know he's really tall (he's slowed down, he's actually back down to being on the height chart at 97%!!), but since he's under the height limit, you'd think it'd be ok. But his legs are too long for that stupid little footrest and he doesn't have the... sense? motor control? desire?... to keep his feet on it. So he sticks them on the wheels.
