poor sophia!  and I'm anticipating it will hit baby Margaux just in time for the weekend... we are having her bday party on saturday and her baptism on sunday! 

 

how did we make it 4.5 years with sophia never getting this awful thing?   my poor big girl!

Hand, Foot, Mouth is the WORST! I'm so sorry Sophia has to deal with it. I hope Baby M steers clear and your household is back to normal soon.

Poor girl:( I had this in January, and it was seriously the most painful illness I've had. It broke my heart to think of my poor, sweet babies feeling like that when they had it. No wonder they were such miserable crabs! I, too, hope the baby doesn't catch it(and neither you nor your husband for that matter). Feel better, Sophia!

thanks girls! It is proving to be just BRUTAL!!! this is perhaps the quietest sophia has ever been! poor thing!

Are you using the magic mouthwash?

Equal parts Benadryl, Maalox liquid and Motrin. Swab as needed.

Faith "had" coxsackie this week as well.  She never broke out in the rash though.  Since she was so young,  our pedi told us a lot of frozen 100% fruit juice bars.  She was a champ!  I hope Sophia feels better soon!

The older two escaped it some how!

My little guy had it last week, and it was pretty brutal but mostly during the night. He had a really hard time getting comfortable.

My DS is at the tail end of it (day5). The worse of it was days2-3 because he didn't want to eat/drink (probably because of the blisters in mouth) & slept terribly! Yesterday (day4) he finally was able to eat normally!
