What age for a bike?

Just wondering, she is starting to show interest in others bikes, but hasn't been on one herself.

    My DS got a tricycle when he was 2 and a bike at 3 1/2.  He loves it and could ride it with no problem right away.

    Harmon got a regular bike just shy of his 3rd birthday.  He had it mastered in a week.  We might try ditching the training wheels soon... might...

    DD was 4 and DS1 was 3.   Both can ride them well, sometimes DS1 needs a push start.

    DD was 4.  DS just got a balance bike and I have a feeling his interest will get DD more interested.

    my dd is 3 and I've been looking for a balance style bike on CL-  she's got a helmet for her trike (got it at 2, but just recently learned to pedal), so if I find one, I'll have her try it right away.
