My DH left tonight for a mission trip and won't be back until next Saturday. I hate when he leaves for trips but my hormones are in overdrive and I literally bawled my eyes out and sobbed uncontrollably. I kept telling myself there are women out there who have their significant others gone for so much longer than a week for multiple reasons, and a week is nothing compared to that. But wow, I could not stop breaking down. My poor DH had to try to console me and I felt bad for doing that before he left. My hormones are making me feel crazy. So now I'm exhausted from crying so hard. Think I will go have some ice cream to make me feel better.... Or just go to bed!

I did this last weekend. My DH was gone for a week and I swear before he left I had a huge meltdown and then every day when he phoned. All because of those lovely pregnant hormones. I understand what your going through.

I totally understand how you feel. MH is in the military so you think I'd be used to him being gone for long periods of time but since I've been pregnant, I get super upset anytime he has to go into the field or has duty. My dog and I just snuggle on the couch (which she's normally not allowed on) and pout until he comes back.
