the people that lambast posters over their decision to find new homes for their pets are obnoxious. i guess that's an opinion?
my baby ate part of a dog treat last night that the dog left on the floor then came to me asking for more, haha. (i didnt give her more, btw)
Re: FFFC- post them
C may or may not have had some cat food a few times in the past 24hrs now that he is so fast at getting to the kitchen on his own and we are still adjusting to parenthood with a baby in motion. He can't stand puffs, but Purina is apparently fascinating.
I would also like to muzzle my in-laws for putting the bug in DH's ear that we absolutely must sell our house this summer, then discouraging him because of the price we are advertising. It's what we need to realistically sell and get a different place; it's been hell to get all the updates done in a scramble, and now they're essentially kicking him in the gut with his confidence. If it sells, it sells. If it doesn't we really don't have to worry about the school district for at least 3 more years so back.the.eff. off. and leave us alone already.
I would be on GFF if my workplace didn't suddenly ban that forum. I guess a parked domain is a "security threat" to my company. ::scowls at the built-in camera on her Mac::
I work 45 minutes away from home, I only have 3 hours with my little man before I have to put him to bed during the week, so I hardly ever even turn on the computer when home. I guess I'll check it out every once in awhile, but the good news is that I may be more productive during my work week?
I agree w/ your first paragraph. I got my cats when I was 17 years old (I am almost 31 now). I have no intention of getting rid of my cat but its not like I was thinking of children when I was 17 & they have posed some logistical problems. I think dogs are harder so I can understand how someone would want to re-home a pet that has behavioral issues. Giving them up to a shelter is not something I like though.
I don't want to join Glitter farts because I don't feel like giving them my email address but I am curious. And I am kind of liking the lack of drama but its also made the board a little bit boring.
Oh and I liked WhinyDaisy.
Yesterday I spent all day watching our really hot maintenance man do his work outside of my office, and I didn't get any of my own work done. Curse you hot maintenance man!!
I secretly hope he comes back today so I can have some eye candy to look at while I try and work.

2. haha, awesome.
LOL - you reminded me of this!
::record scratch::
Wait...what?
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
You what?
My confession is that I let DD play with my cell phone for like 45 minutes this morning. A whole house full of toys and that's the only thing she wanted. Also, I should be showering right now but I'm savoring a quiet house instead. Can't.Get.Motivated.
ITA.
.... awkward....
Edited: I messed up the quote about the wheel of cheese. Sookie's is correct. NFT!
I cried last night because Lilly was already exhausted when I got home, so I ended up just seeing her for her bedtime routine. I tried to rock her to sleep so that I could hold her for a while while she slept but she wasn't having it and just wanted to be in her crib.
It fvcking sucked and made me a sad mommy.
out of lurkdom...
i confess, i called my best friend an ignorant ass today. this was because she told me training her 3 month old dog was more work than i would ever have to put into raising my son.
haha. did she say anything back?
p.s. the animal crazies prob agree with her as well.
actually, no. which was probably a smart move.
i thought the same thing. but it is extra dead here and i am the one who started it so those could be two good reason. ha.

the dog post or something else?
Apparently my DS is walking-has been for a few days. The only people who have seen it are the ladies at daycare. I haven't been able to pick him up until late and when we get home and he just wants to eat and go to sleep.
The dog post is what sparked my UO, but it's also generally speaking.
ITA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry to say that I hope that not everyone is as perfect as they seem on here, cuz it makes me feel like a bad mommy.
My other FFFC is that my DD probably ate moth larvae at my moms house. We go there to swim almost everyday and my DD grabbed some sunflower seeds and I noticed after she ate a small handful that larvae and webby coccoon stuff were in the bag. I guess that proves that I'm a bad mom.
I also came back here to see if anything more interesting was going on here at 9-12 than the 12-24 board. It is a little more interesting which isn't saying much.
I don't get this. I'm a SAHM with a deployed husband and if I weren't throwing a pity party for myself so often, I could definitely shower every day. Of course, my DS isn't high needs, so I can't say anything if yours is. But either way. Naps. Bed time. Before he wakes up. When he is awake and in his jumper or PnP with toys. If you can take 15 minutes to pick up around the house when LO is doing any of those, you can take 15 minutes to pick yourself up.
