Re: Friday check-in
1. Itchy- I have several mosquito bites and they are driving me crazy. Other than that, pretty good.
2. Highlight- getting to see my babies at the NT scan on Tuesday and finding out both their measurements were good. Lowlight- they also did bloodwork on Tuesday to give me official risk of down's and other disorders but the results take a few days, so I'm impatiently waiting to make sure what the scan showed (lower risk) is confirmed.
3. Dh has an old car (1966 Mustang) stored at his parent's house since we didn't have room for it before we moved. Now that he has the garage organized, we are supposed to pick it up.
4. As a recent Indy-area resident, we're always looking for new restaurants to try. We love Ted's Montana Grill and their bison burgers- so yummy! And Puccini's Pizza is tasty. We also like the BBQ at Squealer's.

1. I'm feeling OK. I had to have blood drawn for a cholesterol check today so I'm still a little yuck from fasting and then having blood taken.
2. Highlight: Meeting our new neighbors that are close to our age and going to Penzeys for the first time. I was in cooking geek heaven. Lowlight: This week has gone by pretty slowly for it being a short week.
3. Date night w/DH tonight. Work BBQ w/DH's co-workers tomorrow. Church on Sunday. I'm hoping to at least get one nap in there somewhere.
4. Ooh - good question! I like the Friendly Tavern's tenderloin sandwiches. Sawasdee has really great Thai food. Miyagi's has delicious sushi. I haven't read the responses, but if anyone knows of a good Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant, will you let me know? My Texas self has been missing good Mexican food!
Ooh! Googling these right now!
1. how are you feeling?Pretty good.
2. highlight/lowlight of your week?Low, was sick yesterday. High took the boys to get haircuts today. was fun.
3. weekend plans? grocery shop and watch the parade that is starting in front of the house.
4. favorite local restaurant/s- what kind of food do they have? I am new here as well. But I love tilted kilt. I also have tried the redwood inn. They do sandwiches and pizza and sausage rolls(like a calzone)

Ask me stuff.
1. Tired, although I got unexpected sleep last night while I was on call and accidentally slept through a pumping session. Oops.
2. Highlight: Jocelyn's first field trip was today and we went as chaperones
Her class went to the Children's Museum, which she has been to several times before, but it was still cute. She was very excited about riding the school bus!
Lowlight: Chirs convinced me to allow him to experiment one evening. He gave Connor a bottle of formula before we went to bed and I pumped because Chris was convinced Connor would then sleep through the night. We were rewarded with a vomiting, sleepless baby. At least I think it shut Chris up about the whole breastfeeding vs. formula issue.
3. Family playdate with another daycare family. Should be fun! Maybe an Indians game with my dad?
4.
Chatham Tap, Old Point Tavern, Broad ripple Brewpub - pub fare with great vegetarian options
la Piedad - Mexican
Brugge Brasserie - pom frites and beer
Bazbeaux - pizzas
Yats - Cajun
the Legend - small-town in the city dining (Irvington)
Zest, Taste, Patachou - love their breakfast
Scottys, Brothers, Barely Island - for taking the family out
Mama Carollas - Italian
I love to eat.
1. how are you feeling? OK. I have POAS-itis, esp since I don't know what is happening with my crazy chart!
2. highlight/lowlight of your week? Highlight-I'm really enjoying my new rotation site this month. Everyone there is great and I like the field more than I expected. I am picking up on the work and procedures pretty well. Lowlight-horrible traffic everyday to and from
3. weekend plans? Date night with DH tonight. We're trying out a new asian place. I have a haircut tomorrow (much needed) and then I plan on floating at my parent's pool for the day.
4. favorite local restaurant/s- what kind of food do they have? My all time favorite is probably Bella Vita at Geist (Italian). I second the earlier recommendations of Bazbeaux for pizza (Hot Box is a good casual pizza place) and Scotty's (one of my favs from Purdue). Naked Tchopstix has great sushi and Journey's is a good Asian buffet. El Jaripeo is my favorite Mexican restaurant.
Yes, how could I forget Mama Carollas?? Glad you caught that one!
