PIP: Help with some sort of bite??

What do you think, spider bite?  I know it is kind of hard to tell in the pictures.  We outlined the rash with permanant marker to see if it spreads tomorrow.  I also put some antibiotic ointment on it.  If it isn't better by the am, we will probably got to the pedi.

Could be a spider bite, or she could just really react to mosquitoes. Every once in a while I end up with a mosquito bite that gets swollen like that.

ETA: If it seems to be itchy, try some hydrocortisone (sp?) cream. Bug bites are not fun!

Maybe she got stung?  Only thing I can think of.  Hope she feels better by morning.

I can't remember the name of the bumpie, but when I posted something similar to this last month she said she works in a pediatric derm office and recommended hydrocortisone on it and give LO a dose of allergy medicine; preferably zyrtec (we use the equate version.) Just forwarding the helpful info I was given!

We live in New England and that looks to me like Lyme from a tick bite. If you are in this area at all I would call the pedi asap

Seems like probably a spider bite though I can't see the photos well. Some people react like that to some of the chemicals spiders leave behind when they bite. I'm one of them. My spider bites look like that.
