any recommendations? Ive been searching online and contacted a few that are for NJ/Philly area, but wasn't sure if any of you have used someone that was affordable yet good that you would be able to recommend.

I used Picture People when DD was a month old.  They did a really great job.  If you look a few posts down, living social has a great deal going on with them, it expired in October though.

I want to use her when my baby comes.She is the sister of my parents' neighbor.  She also lives across the street from my cousin.  She's used my little cousins to take pics - they are on her site.  I think she does a really nice job.  If the link doesn't work search for kiwi photography medford nj.  If you need more info let me know and I'll contact her.  Good luck!!

We love Kate Harvey. Check out her website at www.kapturedbykate.com. I used her for my DD 3,6,9, and 12 month photos. She is very reasonable and will travel to your home or location of your choice. Can't wait to call her again for DD 2nd birthday session.

We are using Kelly Lisk (kellyliskphotography.com). Also, Jack Saady (JackSaady.com) and I've heard good things about Ema Photography (emaphotography.com)

She just did our newborn photos in May (the ones in my sig are from her).

You'll have to e-mail her for current rates, but you get all of the retouched photos on a disc to print where & however you want (I use MPix.com to print them), so you don't have to order any prints from her.

She's based out of her home in Williamstown, but I think she travels. She has tons of props and headbands -- extra helpful if you're having a girl!
