I am pretty new to the site but I "bought" something from a seller on June 27th - payment was complete and everything. I was under the impression that the payment going through meant she would ship it...I checked today and she has yet to ship it so I messaged her and she said that she shipped it this morning. I thought that was a little ridiculous, especially because she didn't even bother to notify me, she waited until I mesaged her and asked for my money back..Is it typical for sellers to take 11+ days to ship something?
And she has like 180+ positive ratings...that's why I'm wondering if this is normal.
Re: Diaper Swappers
I just made my first purchase from there too but it only took 2 days for her to ship.

It shouldn't be typical, but lately in my experience it is. My last 4 purchases have all taken well over a week to ship. All had different excuses. I was reading on there the other day, though, that DS has a 5-day rule. It is here.
"Shipping time frame once you receive paypal payment should be no later than 5 days once you receive payment. ... If you have a delay please contact your buyer to keep her posted."
I always ship next day unless it's the weekend. There are some people on there who put crazy restrictions in their listings. One lady said, I only go to the post office on Saturdays because I have 4 kids and I can't go during the week with them all. You need to pay me within 2 hours of expressing interest in the diaper or I will move on to next seller, etc. Ridiculous.
Maybe the seller was on vacation last week? Even so, she should have told you once she got your PP.
75% of my stash came very soon, but some took a while.
Since you only get to give positive/neutral/negative it is hard to give accurate feedback. To me, it is more important that the items come in as described then come in quickly so I'd still be apt to give her positive rating with perhaps a "slow to ship" disclaimer.
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!
