question for those who have started a cycle with a cyst

What happens to the cyst during your cycle?  Is it supposed to shrink or do they expect that it will grow?

At my baseline I had a 17mm cyst, but since my estradiol was going down my RE oked me to go ahead with the follistim.  I had my monitoring appt today and it looks like the cyst is up to 24 mm now.

Hi btay!  I had 3 cysts my BFP cycle (1 ovarian, 1 peritubal, and 1 sub-endometrial).  They were all less than 20mm so the RE let me cycle.  They all remained about the same size during my cycle. 

Edit:  I think there is probably some margin of error in measuring and your cyst may have not grown that much.

I had one at the beginning of my BFP cycle. It was 22mm. I still was able to cycle and it had gone away by the time I got to CD12 monitoring.

Usually when I have a cyst we either aspirate it or take a cycle off. Since I am prone to cysts mine do not go away when stimming.

I had a cyst at my baseline u/s for my current cycle.  It was 20mm on CD3 and on my first monitoring appt it went up to 21mm and by my second monitoring appt it was down to 15mm.  As of yesterday they couldnt even find it on the u/s,

My RE said since the cyst wasnt producing any estrogen at my baseline that it wouldn't effect anything.  Good luck to you!

Mine disappeared by the time i had cd 12 ultrasound
