I am just curious to see how your mirena insertion went. I know you posted about being concerned about the string poking YH during sex and was wondering how the insertion was (was it painful) and if you have any complaints.

Everything went fine. The insertion was quick and painless. No more discomfort than a pap. I bled for a little while that day and had some slight cramping for about an hour or 2 afterwards, but that was all. And DH says he can't feel anything so either my doctor cut the strings short enough or he just doesn't 'measure up' to his friends lol

For us, the position we used also mattered.  DH could feel them in some positions, not in others.
