Vent: NBR

Dear neighbor,

It's 11 pm on a Wednesday evening.  It's July 6th, not the 4th.  If you set off one more firework and scare my sleeping toddler again, you're gonna get a sparkler up your a$$ courtesy of one ticked off pregnant mommy.

Sincerely,

Angry neighbor

  • I'm not a crotchety, uptight neighbor.  I'm all for celebrating the holidays, but come on already!  It's late and the holiday is over.  Have a little consideration for others! AGGGHHHHH!!! Angry

  • I feel for ya.  I live above the neighborhood Quick Stop, and now that the weather's warm all the young delinquents hang around on the street dribbling their basketballs and blaring their car stereos until late.  I'm glad I'm having a fall baby so they'll be back in school (hopefully), but come this time next year I'm sure I'll be chucking pungent diapers at them from the balcony!

  • Dude, my non-pants wearing as$ would be outside looking for the jerks that needed to be strangled for lighting fireworks. I understand Fri-Sun and maybe until 10:30 on sunday, but I hate that inconsiderate crap.

  • Is that not breaking some sort of town bylaw??
In my city you have to have a permit to set off fireworks and there is a noise curfew.
I would have totally lost it on them or called the cops!
