Teething = not eating?

Did this happen to you?  My girls have both been fighting their bottles and eating poorly for the past few days.  I also suspect that they are teething.  Do you think the decreased appetite is the teething?  Or should I call the pedi?  They have no fever or anything, but I wonder that maybe the loss of appetite could be an ear infection?  DD1 never had an ear infection, so I really do not know what to expect or look for.

These little stinkers always do these things to me at the same time too!  It is so hard to tandem feed when they are both fussing while eating.

    YesYes

    I'd give it a day or two to see if anything comes of it before calling.  Unless you're concerned about dehydration of course.

  • If I suspect teething I give my DD tylonal and try feeding her again in a half an hour.  She then usually takes her bottle.

    GL, I am in the same boat!
