Yet Another Newbie...

My hubby and I learned only a few days ago that we are (unexpectedly!) expecting our first baby.  I have been more overwhelmed in the past week than, I think, maybe in my whole life.  I am dealing with every emotion imaginable, plus some extra fear because of health concerns in both our families, as well as financial challenges.  Not to mention, figuring out when and how to tell everyone (immediate family and some very close friends already know...we desperately needed the support and prayers right away).  I realize this is a great place to get started, but is there anyone who is dealing with a similar situation?

Hello Welcome to The Bump! This board doesn't get much traffic as you have probably already figured out...I would definitely look into the "1st Trimester" board because those ladies are in the same boat as you!

Welcome! You might want to also check out the high risk board if you are worried about health concerns. I've been a Type 1 diabetic since 7 years old and had a lot of health fears so it's nice to talk to others that might be in the same situation. I don't know what your health concerns are but you can PM if you want to talk. I had to see my OB/GYN every two weeks since I got the BFP AND my husband was unemployed at the time...I know about being overwhelmed.   GL!
