Hello, so I was backed into in a parking lot, some jacka$$ decided not to turn around and just back right into the front of my car. There is very minimal damage to the car and the guy was going 5mph at most. Would you replace the car seat? We have a Britax Roundabout 55 ordered that we were gonna get anyway, but it wont be here for close to 2 weeks, WDYT?

Re: Minor car accident in parking lot - replace car seat?
No. We were in a low speed fender bender and we didn't replace the seat. We barely rolled into the car, it didn't even jar us so I can't believe it compromised the car seat.
I hit a deer and it did 7K worth of damage to my car. My child didn't even wake up and the airbags were not deployed and we drove it away. It just hit the front passenger side and kind of rolled down causing minor damage all along so there was a lot of replacement.
Each manufacturer is different, but Britax suggests replacement is not needed in minor crashes where:
The vehicle was able to be driven away from the crash site; AND
The vehicle door nearest the child restraint was undamaged; ANDThere were no injuries to any of the vehicle occupants; ANDThe air bags (if present) did not deploy; ANDThere is no visible damage to the child seat.https://www.britaxusa.com/support/faq/after-a-crashDarling Little Sydney born 12.22.12
